In Phase 2 of the project, a residential building on the 75th Street/Bay Ridge Parkway side of the property will be removed to accommodate construction of a new gymnasium and additional classrooms that will connect with the main building. The gymnasium and additional classrooms are anticipated to open during the 2025-2026 school year.
Phase 2 impacts for the entire school:
Our beloved Bay Ridge Prep Tigers will have an on-campus home court for fans to watch and cheer them on to victory. In addition to its ability to be used as a large gathering space for student and alumni activities, the Shore Road gymnasium space will also mitigate the school’s needs to rent outside facilities for physical education and athletics programming.
