Halfway There! Campaign Fundraising Goal at 54%

In an exciting update to the school community, Head of School Charles Fasano and Development Director Alan Bernstein announced that the school has met 54% of the fundraising goal for Our School. Our Future. The Campaign for Bay Ridge Prep.

An excerpt of the letter to the community says:

We have worked diligently on the quiet phase of the capital campaign to raise funds for property acquisition and construction. The school is financing this through tax-exempt bonds, reserves, and fundraising. We secured initial financing from ConnectOne Bank to renovate the main building and now have a term sheet for a second round of financing to support construction of the gymnasium building. In addition to bank financing, the school has also set aside funds every year for a building project. This reserve, in addition to fundraising, will help close the gap on the needed funds to complete the project.

Thanks to generous contributions from our community, we have raised over $2 million dollars in the silent phase of the campaign and have reached 54% of our goal, which is to raise $4 million dollars.
